Thank you for posting it. I have some questions:<br /><br />1. Couldn't the case be made that putting HM's name on the $20 note would actually demean the monarchy, by putting the Sovereign on the same level as the politicians on the other notes? Shouldn't citizens be able to recognize their head of state without a caption?<br /><br />2. The senators brought up two aspects of the law governing succession to the crown they would like changed. Would it be possible for the Canadian Parliament to make those changes without achieving the unanimity required for abolishing the monarchy? <br /><br />3.
